Hurricane Help
Humane Society of Central Alabama can foster some animals for those fleeing Hurricane Irma. Please contact Lynn Sanders 334-431-0476 if you need our assistance. This Will NOT be done at the Selma Animal Shelter. We are doing this at our training facility that we are in the process of setting up and in personal homes of people offering to help. If you are in our area and can help to shelter dogs, cats, horses, etc., feed the animals, or help in any way, please call Lynn at 334-431-0476. Thanks.
Helping Others in Need
Help us help others in our community! Sky Hill Animal Society has partnered with the Selma COA Food Pantry to supply people who are in need with dog or cat food for their pets. Please donate bags under 10 pounds of dog food and/or cat food for this program! You may drop off your donations to the special containers at Northside Animal Hospital, Selma Animal Hospital, Dave’s Market and Selma Food Outlet.
Adoptable Dogs
Below is the link to the photos and info on dogs available for adoption in the Sky Hill Animal Society Adoptable Dog Program. When you adopt a dog out of this program, the $100 adoption fee is used along with other donations to cover vet care for the next dog coming into the program. So remember, you are saving the dog you adopt, plus the next dog your adoption fee is used to save.

Sky Hill Shelter Intervention Program
We have started a Shelter Intervention Program on a very small scale with hopes to grow it. We’ve been able to help people get their animals spayed or neutered, and are helping people in need get food for their animals. Another aspect of this program is to offer people temporary fosters for their animals when life happens and they are unable to keep their animals with them.
