This program is run by volunteers that promote and pay all the vetting for the Selma Alabama Animal Shelter cats. The shelter takes in almost 2000 cats a year and almost none of them make it out alive. This group promotes not only adoption, but responsible pet ownership by the spaying and neutering of Selma’s cats to stop the senseless overpopulation which leads to the unnecessary deaths of so many beautiful creatures.
All adoptable cats are fully vetted, spay/neutered, UTD on shots and micro-chipped. Adoption fee is only $50. We prefer that our kids be inside cats for their safety.
Stop by the Selma Animal Shelter, 206 Medical Center Parkway, from 10 am until 4 pm, Monday through Friday, to visit with our furry felines. Adult cats are hanging out in our free roam room and love to have company! The shelter is usually open for Adoptions Only on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 am until 2 pm. This sometimes varies, so please call the shelter at (334) 877-2204 to confirm or check out Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/purrrfectpals/.
